- Submission
of a Manuscript
Submission
of a paper implies that the paper is original and is not submitted
elsewhere. A galley proof will be sent to the first author unless
otherwise indicated. Authors are requested to retain a copy of the
paper, as manuscript is not sent with the proof.
25
reprints are supplied gratis to the first author. Additional
reprints can be obtained by placing order at the time of proof
correction.
Contributions (preferably prepared in any form of TeX) to
the publications of the Society should be submitted via e-mail to: ams10marg@gmail.com (CDs/Floppies are not acceptable)
for faster processing. A list of probable Referees, including at least two names from
foreign countries, who are actively engaged in your field of research
with complete postal and E-mail addresses should also be submitted
via e-mail along with the manuscript. One hard copy of the manuscript
should be sent along with duly filled up Declaration
Form at the following address:

- Preparation
of the Manuscript
Manuscripts
should be written in good English. Authors are encouraged to
prepare their manuscript preferably in any form of
TeX. The first page of the Manuscript should provide
the title, the author(s) name and institution with complete
mailing address along with phone and E-mail/fax. (It should be
specified that to whom the Editorial Correspondence is to be
made). The title of the manuscript should be brief and
informative; special symbols and formulae should not preferably be
used in the title. An explicit but short abstract should be
provided at the beginning of the paper. A short list of carefully
chosen key words and phrases along with Mathematics Subject
Classification (2000) should follow the 'Abstract'. The text of
the paper should be divided into sections with appropriate
headings. The author(s) should try to keep the notations as simple
as possible and should try to avoid complicated subscripts and
superscripts. Special type fonts should also be avoided.
All
the figures should be sent along with the manuscript through e-mail at the address given
above. (Alternately, hard copies of the figures may be sent in Camera-Ready form i.e., the figures
should be drawn on tracing paper made up with fine black ink, and
should be within the area 3.5"x3.5". Hand-written or
typed letters on the figures should be avoided and these letters
should be sufficiently large in size to be clearly legible after
reduction. Also, these letters should not overlap the
graphs/figures.)
References
to the literature should be listed alphabetically at the end of
the paper by Arabic numerals within square brackets. All references
should include complete title of the referred paper, and first
and last page numbers. Authors are encouraged to check that all
the references in the list are used in the text.

| Special Volume on Professor Billy Rhoades |
The Indian Journal of Mathematics will be publishing a special volume containing three issues on Billy Rhoades, Professor Emeritus at Indiana University Bloomington. He obtained his doctoral degree on Hausdorff Summability Methods from Lehigh University in 1958. He was Albert Tommy Wilansky's first student, and the 5th Ph.D awardee in mathematics from Lehigh. He has made numerous contributions to Summability Theory and Fixed Point Theory. He has published more than 378 papers. In addition he has served the mathematical community with a great sense of dedication and has a very large following throughout the world.
The focus areas in a broad sense will include the following topics among othrs:
- Summability methods
- Convergence of iteration procedures
- Fixed point stability and stability of iteration procedures with applications
- Fuzzy fixed point theory
- Variational principles
- Optimization
- Surjectivity
Authors should submit their papers for publication either to the Lead Guest Editor or to any of the Guest Editors listed below. Authors' guidelines may be obtained at: http://www.amsallahabad.org

Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement
"Indian Journal of Mathematics" (IJM) and "Bulletin of the Allahabad Mathematical Society" (Bulletin) are peer-reviewed journals, and are indexed in Mathematical Reviews (USA), Zentralblatt MATH (Germany). Manuscripts submitted to these journals are evaluated entirely on the basis of their scientific content. All possible measures are taken to uphold the highest standards of publication ethics and to prevent malpractices. Authors who submit papers to IJM/Bulletin attest that their work is original and unpublished and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. In addition, authors confirm that their paper is their own original work, that has not been copied or
plagiarized, in whole or in part, from other works and if the authorshave used the works of others the same has been appropriately cited or quoted. |
